Elm & Vine Provisions was born out of a belief that food connects us all - not only to each other, but also to the world around us. We believe in the importance of sourcing fresh local ingredients that respect our community and the environment, and in the beauty of bringing people together to share good food in the great outdoors. All of our picnics are preserves are built on a base of home-grown wholesome ingredients, and our reusable containers and from-scratch methods ensure minimal waste, to ensure respect for our beautiful earth.
In many ways, Elm & Vine is the outgrowth of a collection of vintage baskets, dishes, and table linens demanding to be seen and used. We believe that beauty should be the default to which we aspire each day, not something locked away in a cabinet - and to that end, we are excited to share our collections with you. And if you happen to fall in love with a teacup or a silver spoon, many of the items in your basket are available to purchase. We also sell the house-made preserves and pickles we often feature in our picnics.
Elm & Vine is the partnership of Kelsey Topola and Taryn Goff, both of us perennial students and lifelong food enthusiasts. Taryn's sporadically updated blog, The Prairie Girl's Pantry, focuses on growing and preparing local food in Saskatchewan. We are thrilled to have found an outlet to share our enthusiasm for beautiful, flavourful, thoughtful food.
We look forward to helping you make memories.
